Submissions for the design a marble contest

  1. No purchase necessary.
  2. Open to anyone 14 or older at the time of entry.
  3. Contest entries cannot be revised or altered once submitted. Each participant further agrees that such entry constitutes an assignment of all rights, including but not limited to intellectual property rights, and title in and to Darkside Entertainment Limited.
  4. Submission of an entry grants Darkside Entertainment Limited and its agents an unlimited, worldwide, perpetual license and right to publish, use, edit, adapt and/or modify the entry in any way, in commerce and in any and all media worldwide now known or hereinafter developed, without limitation and without notice or by consideration to the participant.
  5. Once submitted, all entries become the property of Darkside Entertainment, who has the right to print, reproduce, distribute, or modify the artwork for use in any of its products, on its Web sites, and in its publicity and promotional materials, royalty-free and forever.
  6. POSSIBLE INCLUSION (AT DARKSIDE ENTERTAINMENTS SOLE DISCRETION) OF THEIR SUBMISSION OR A DERIVATIVE THEREOF IN A FUTURE INSTALLMENT IN THE PLAY MARBLES PRODUCT AND ENTERTAINMENT SERIES.
  7. BY ENTERING, PARTICIPANT AGREES THAT PARTICIPANT'S SUBMISSION IS GRATUITOUS, UNSOLICITED AND WITHOUT RESTRICTION, AND WILL NOT PLACE DARKSIDE ENTERTAINMENT LIMITED. UNDER ANY OBLIGATION, AND THAT DARKSIDE ENTERTAINMENT LIMITED IS FREE TO DISCLOSE THE IDEAS CONTAINED THEREIN ON A NON-CONFIDENTIAL BASIS TO ANYONE OR OTHERWISE USE THE IDEAS WITHOUT ANY ADDITIONAL COMPENSATION TO PARTICIPANT. DARKSIDE ENTERTAINMENT LIMITED DOES NOT WAIVE ANY RIGHTS TO USE SIMILAR OR RELATED IDEAS PREVIOUSLY KNOWN TO DARKSIDE ENTERTAINMENT LIMITED OR DEVELOPED BY ITS EMPLOYEES, OR OBTAINED FROM SOURCES OTHER THAN PARTICIPANT.
  8. Any waiver of any obligation hereunder by Darkside Entertainment Limited does not constitute a general waiver of any obligation to participants. By submitting or approving a submission, participant acknowledges that Darkside Entertainment Limited has no obligation other than those contained in these official rules to accept or post such submission.
  9. By accepting a prize, each winner agrees that Darkside Entertainment Limited may use winner's name, likeness, photograph and/or limited biographical information, without limitation, for promotional purposes without further consideration or payment, except where prohibited by law.

Contest Rules and regulations:

  • Actual submission in approved format. (see below)
  • Information you submitted to enter will be referred to collectively as your "entry".
  • At its sole discretion Darkside Entertainment Ltd reserves the right to review and void any entry submission it feels does not comply with these official rules or that would be considered to be offensive to the viewing public or damaging to the Play Marbles game brand
  • Entry submissions must be in one of the following file formats: JPEG, PSD, TIFF, PNG and PDF. Submission may not exceed a file size larger than 5MB.
  • Submission must be the participant's original creation, unpublished, the sole property of the participant, and not previously submitted in any other contest. Modifying, enhancing or altering a third party's pre-existing work does not qualify as a participant's original creation.
